I grabbed my weights (1.5 lbs each) and velcroed them to my wrists and headed out the door (after I made chocolate waffles per G's request) I'll blame my eating 1 and half on him. LOL. A beautiful breeze woke me up and I walked to 81st street to meet up with Katie. We ended up walking along the east river for about 2 hours (time flies by when you're catching up with your friend), crossed over the bridge to Randalls island .So many people were enjoying the weather and I particularly liked talking to an old fisherman catching fish in the East River. I stopped to ask him if one can actually eat the fish from the East River. He said yes and that he catches 26inch large Bass. I'd be skeptical to eat something out of that river (the same river people are found dead in from time to time), but hey- to each his own. His words of wisdom of the day though was that "Men are liars, but Fisherman are even bigger liars."
Got home and make G and myself some chicken drumsticks and now been searching for wedding photographers. What a tough task. It helps though when your fiance tickles and massages your feet :)
